The feminine approach to our yoga practice supports us as women not just throughout our monthly cycles, but also throughout the various unique transitions of our feminine lives.
Prenatal Yoga with Dani Loxton is a gentle way of providing a beautiful, effective but most importantly safe practice for you and your bub. Expect to explore asana and practices that are designed to support and empower you during pregnancy and alleviate coming ailments.
Guidance and strength during pregnancy, labour and birth comes from having a deep connection to your body and your intuitive feminine nature. A space for mindfulness and meditation to connect, mindset to stay positive and empowered during such time of change, transition and epic adventure of childbirth and the ongoing path of motherhood all while creating a sense of community.
Pre & Postnatal
Restorative prenatal sessions are a slow and cozy practice. Giving you the opportunity to bask in the gentle rest and relaxation, designed to relieve lower back pain, ease tension, release stress and anxiety as well as practice relaxation and breathing techniques. It is here that we learn to trust our wisdom and honour our own beautiful and unique journey. Class is set in a small group setting utilising a space for mindfulness and meditation to connect, mindset to stay positive and empowered during such time of change and transition, all while creating a sense of community.
Stabilise Flow Prenatal
Stabilise Flow prenatal sessions incorporate movement to both strengthen and release in areas needed to help alleviate any aches or pains, but also build the strength in the mind and body for birth. It is here that we learn to listen to, trust and surrender to our intuition.
Postnatal & babes
Postnatal sessions (with the babes) are designed to nurture and strengthen you during your postpartum stage while building a (or continuing your) supportive, healing and loving community.
Recommended age starts at 6-8 weeks old all the way up to pre crawlers. (postnatal 6 week check up is required)
Class is set in a small group setting and will include postpartum 'fitness' including pelvic floor and core integration, baby and mama rituals including baby yoga and an open circle to honour the importance of sharing and connecting with a support system of Mothers.
Slow Flow (currently unavailable)
By definition, the physical practice of yoga, is all about balance. With attention to the breath and fluid movement in this feminine practice, you’ll warm up and wake up with Sun Salutes and flow through a skillful sequence that then allows you allows you time to connect deeply to your breath and stay in postures long enough to become acutely aware of their sensations—and maybe even break a sweat. Explore the subtleties of both effort and ease as you learn to move more mindfully and softly.
This session is encouraged for those women in their follicular & ovulation phases of their cycle.

An evening session suitable for all women.
A session to settle in, connect with yourself, your breath and then release, unwind and let go in this femiine restorative style class.
Long-held restorative postures may allow your muscles to relax, your heart rate to lower, and your nervous system to let go. Quiet your mind, relieve aches and soothe your soul in tranquil sessions that leave you refreshed.

Prenatal women (with modifications made)
Luteal & Menstrual phase of your cycle

Expect to emerge with the kind of yoga buzz that perfectly preps you for deep, sound sleep. The feel and intention of this session is softness, surrender, releasing and totally inhabiting the female body.
